Description

The Specialist – Talent and Sourcing will be a seasoned Talent Acquisition individual who has experience to create pipeline of talents to readily fulfil the business Talent needs. The Specialist – Talent and Sourcing shall support in the development of effective sourcing and talent strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organisation. He/She will be responsible for university partnerships, manage internship programs, plan internal career day and place internal talents at the center of CIM Talent strategy. He/She should be able to demonstrate an agile and evolving approach to reach out to the market and also identify and nurture fresh graduates and future talents. The Specialist – Talent and Sourcing will be responsible for driving the talent strategy in all jurisdictions of Cim Group, including Mauritius and Kenya.

Responsibility

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process including sourcing, screening and interviewing
  • Collaborates with department managers to support in organisation design, hiring criteria and assessment
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Research and implement strategies to mitigate any adverse talent trend on business
  • Assists with the design of job posting creation and advertisement process
  • Manages our strategic recruitment partnership and being able to articulate concise and accurate brief for any open position
  • Maintains positive employer image from the start to end of a selection process. This includes making timely contact with all candidates, through the employer engagement process until farewell or converting a candidate to an employee
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process
  • Attends and participates in career fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Assists in employer branding initiatives, development of collaterals and Employer Value Proposition to maintain CIM as an employer of choice
  • Maintains new hire touch point in their first 90-days and make recommendations for any on-boarding or new hire journey to have maximise return on hiring efforts
  • Works to increase visibility of CIM Brand when it comes to career prospects/opportunities
  • Maintains career portals, ensuring relevant updates are affected timely and professionally.

Profile

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to engage and recruit from entry level to management positions
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and recruitment KPIs
  • Familiarity with employment laws and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
  • Have a flair for data and use data to support KPI of Recruitment and Selection and reduce TAT of recruitment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Able to plan and recruit massively for determinate duration contract, trainees and start up

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred
  • Experience in managing both internal and external talent pipelines
  • Experience in cross boarder talent management is advantageous
  • Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
