Digitalisation In FY 2024, we advanced our HR digitalisation journey by integrating performance management and E-learning to our new best in class talent management platform, fully digitalising HR operations including salary increases and bonus cycles. These enhancements have improved transparency, accountability, and alignment with organisational goals. Additionally, digital recruitment and onboarding modules will create a seamless experience from hiring to integration. Our Green HR approach has also advanced the organisation’s sustainability goals. Over the past three years, by eliminating printed documents as far as possible we have saved 233,000 sheets of paper, equivalent to 30.8 trees, 104,099 litres of water, and 9,577 kWh of energy – enough to power an average household for three months. Voice of the employee In 2024, we conducted our fourth Employee Engagement Survey, maintaining a high participation rate – a testament to our employees’ confidence in management’s ability to act on their feedback. With a score of 4.24, exceeding averages in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa, the results highlight areas of strength, while also presenting opportunities to address key employee priorities. The survey results have driven several key initiatives, including enhanced career development plans that align with employees’ ambitions, and greater transparency in internal communications and recognition. Additionally, the Cim Capability Academy was introduced as part of our recruitment strategy, aimed at bringing in trained and equipped talent to strengthen our business. We remain committed to building on these efforts, ensuring our actions align with the evolving needs of our people. Recognition and appreciation The 2nd edition of our annual recognition programme, Cim MoRecognition, highlighted the exceptional achievements and milestones of our employees. A growing number of nominations in FY 2024 reflects enthusiasm for the programme, as well as the depth of talent at Cim Finance. Since formalising our engagement journey three years ago, we have continuously evolved our priorities to meet our employees’ changing needs. Investing in them not only builds a stronger, more collaborative workplace culture and instills a sense of purpose, but it also leads to better business outcomes.
