CFSL Annual Report 2024

Human Capital Report (continued) Safety and Holistic Wellbeing Safety and wellbeing are integral to our human capital strategy, rooted in the belief that supported and engaged employees are essential to organisational success. Recognising that employees perform at their best when they feel secure and valued, Cim Finance has prioritised initiatives that address physical safety, mental health, and resilience. Since embarking on our wellbeing journey in 2021, we have continuously enhanced these efforts, fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and collaborate effectively. In 2024, we strengthened our commitment by amplifying our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, understanding that different perspectives fuel innovation, strengthen collaboration, and unlock our collective potential. How we delivered on this pillar in FY 2024 Safety Safety remains a priority at Cim Finance, reflected in our proactive measures to protect and empower our employees. These safety sessions go beyond workplace protocols, fostering a culture of responsibility and preparedness that benefits our team members in their roles and their everyday lives. Safety This year, 41 employees participated in defensive driving sessions, vital for our on-the-road workforce ensuring their safety while performing essential fieldwork responsibilities. Whole-person wellbeing Our wellbeing initiatives are rooted in a caring approach, understanding that our people’s physical, mental, and emotional health directly impacts their ability to thrive at work and lead fulfilling lives beyond the workplace. Through our medical insurance scheme, employees also benefit from ‘Médecin à Domicile’ services, ensuring convenient access to healthcare. Whole-person wellbeing In FY 2024, we launched various initiatives to promote whole-person wellbeing, addressing all dimensions of health. We introduced a free sanitary pad dispenser – the first of its kind in Mauritius while yoga sessions, cervical cancer screenings and dengue awareness campaigns further reinforced our commitment to physical health. Mental health awareness remained a priority, with 143 employees attending sessions conducted by our clinical psychologist, both in-person and online. To make support accessible, we also introduced an on-site clinical psychologist, available weekly, as part of our Employee Assistance Programme. Our Work-From-Home initiative allows employees to work remotely one day per week, empowering them to balance personal and professional responsibilities more flexibly and effectively. 58
